So sorry. After a rage before church this morning...so far...better today.
He tried to have a fit earlier and I just looked at him and had him look into my eyes and I whispered to him..."Go to your room until I call you down."
He went up screaming and banging on stuff and then calmed down and has been okay since.
But...I am holding my breath. School has already been cancelled here for tomorrow for the threat of snow. UGH. I do enjoy the break when he is at school. Selfish, I know. Sad too. I used to LOVE when my kids were not in school and wanted to home school them so bad.
I am praying for you. I am also working on a new blog. I just can't seem to get my pictures and things on the other one. I am sad to leave it, but what else can I do? I will let you know when I am done. Prayers and hugs... KM
I just want to let you know that I used to do things like Missy when I was younger. And the thing I was missing: Love for other people. I'd like to suggest the only thing that really, truly worked for me. When she starts having a difficult time, hold her in your lap, and pray for her. Actually, (sadly) my mother had to pin me on the floor sometimes. Hold her in restraint (it doesn't really matter how) and talk through what she's going through. Pray for her multiple times, and have her pray a true prayer of surrender and repentance, asking for forgiveness. When she is calm, you can let her go. It is the only thing that worked for me, no matter how out of control I was, no matter how crossed my will was. Keep going! I just want to encourage you that leading her to Jesus will help, for He understands all our troubles.
