Giddy With Relief

At 4:30, exactly 7 hours since she started screaming,
she stopped,
did what I had originally asked
and apologized on her own.

She was (still is) absolutely giddy with relief.

And it was my turn to cry.
I'll live in the moment and hope tomorrow never comes...
