Got a message. They aren't going to keep me out of the building. I'll be in the next room. I'm praying for a no show...

Arrange to have pictures taken with the twins and their birth family. They will be invaluable later.

I just started reading through your blog. Oh my goodness. May the Lord give you continued strength and joy as you walk in this calling.
Thank you for loving Him and obeying His commands. You are making an eternal difference. And it is HARD. SACRIFICE. wow.

Will be praying for you. At least you can assure 'Missy' that you will just be in the next room, and will NOT leave the building!!! What a difficult thing for all of you. We never had to do any of that. I will pray HARD for you!! God will be with you, and with the kids. OH - The person who suggested the picture is so right - there will come a time when there will be questions that will get asked and pictures would be very helpful. Even though this person has caused them great pain, she is still the source of their very life, and there is always going to be a connection, better to foster the healthy part of it, than to ignore it altogether. But you knew that. :) - on another note - I don't remember how much I said previously, but I was able to secure an appointment with Alabama Post Adoption Resources on Friday afternoon of next week. It's an 'intake' appointment, and basically, she gets a bit of a history/feel for our family's needs and then puts us in connections with the resources we need. There is a center for attachment therapy in the next town over (20 minutes from here) that I"m pretty sure is where we will end up. I'm just glad to know that help is on the way, and that God is in control. The day that I posted that profile comment, on Facebook, I got so much helpful feedback from so many people who had great ideas (and a few who were clueless, but we love them anyway) and I also got contacted outside of facebook by the DHS person whom I had left a message with, both she and the person she forwarded my message to pointed me to the Attachment clinic, and a good friend who is a mom of grown adopted children who had RAD - who still lives in the NW and did internet research for me (!) - also pointed me to the same place.(!) Lon and I had prayed just that morning, that God would guide us to the RIGHT counselor, it was very nice to feel Him doing just that, three times, to be sure we got the message!!!! Praying for you today sister!!!!!

We are praying for you! It seems that through this whole thing, honesty hasn't been the way this system works, eh? It is in His hands and He will work things out. Your family is so beautiful and "this too shall pass." I am anxious to hear what happened today. Just think...tonight is Sabbath!! Hallelujah!
