The cougar our neighbors chased away has been seen again on our road.
Bringing a noise maker.
The boy has had a hard morning. Not sure why.

Stay safe! If he's hungry enough noise won't really scare him. That would be a perfect time for James to have a tantrum - that might do the trick! :) A. xx
FL had had problems with them too-one time one was seen with its paws on the fence looking in at all the kids out on the playground.
Another time I heard that a state was considering enclosing the bus stops to make them "cougar proof".
Scary stuff. And I don't know if you know this, but if they go after children it tends to be that 7-11 size range. Can you bring some protection with you?

How about a large size can of bear spray? Those critters make me nervous! They are becoming so plentiful!
