Looks like a wonderful day! Makes me very nervous though to see some without a lifejacket on. We were in a canoe accident, in a COLD lake in May (in CA), and I know for certain, my life was spared because I was wearing a life jacket.
It looks like you were near my neck of the woods. Ancient Lakes is such a beautiful place, especially this time of year. Loved the pictures! What a fun time. And the turtle --- and extra special treat!
PS: We were there last spring on a bird watching trip. It was fun seeing flocks of Sandhill Cranes in marshy areas and and flying about.

Everybody had a life jacket. There wasn't a single ripple of wind, the lake is super shallow and everybody can swim.
