Solution

This is rather out of the ordinary

I would think. . . .

But then, our foster care journey has been a little different from most other people's foster care experience.

I was getting NO sleep with a sick babe and a confused toddler. Steve was having the same deal. He still has to go to work for 12 hours a day regardless of how much, or how little sleep he gets.  I was getting sicker, and sicker instead of better.

Something had to give.

So last night the little boys' mom slept in the spare bed with her babies.... Both kiddos slept so well snuggled up to mom! I was able to get enough rest to turn the tide towards healing. Even the babe is much better today. Thankfully she's allowed unlimited "supervised" visitation with the kiddos or we could not have done this.

I am grateful the little Duck is stronger today and I am thankful I can swallow and turn my head with minimal pain.

I'll leave you with a few pictures from our backyard....

I absolutely LOVE how you are so open to doing foster care differently . . . that you are so open to LOVING the WHOLE family through this time of trial.

Yea, God!

Keep following His lead, and He will guide you on this most interesting of foster care paths.

Glad you are feeling a bit better today.

So awesome - the relationship you have developed with this family and the thinking out of the box that you have been allowed to put into action. You go girl!
