On Friday a hard headed little two year decided to head butt me in the face. His head is harder than mine. It never left a dint in his, and he couldn't figure out why I was crying, and crying, and crying... I was out of commission for a few hours. And every day since, the bones in my nose have become more and more painful. I'm pretty sure it's broken... But what you gonna do? Put my head in a cast?

You do need to go in and get it checked. You have to make sure it is set correctly in order to heal, if it is broken.
So sorry! So not fun.

Ouch! I am so sorry-and yes, I have seen casts on noses before, but it has been awhile. Not sure that they do that anymore...I will be praying for a quick healing process with no complications.
oh no! I was thinking something must be happening.... praying that you will recover quickly and that his head will get softer with time. So sorry for your pain! Antionette
Ouch! Sorry! Their heads are hard! I would get it checked, too, if you can. I apparently broke my nose at some point (probably high school bball?), but didn't find out until later and wish I could have gotten it set correctly.
I'm so sorry about your nose. The 2year olds head is actually softer than yours which is why he didn't have any damage. Our pediatrician told me that toddler bones are softer since they are still forming which is why they when fall hard and do face plants they don't get hurt.
I hope you nose heals quickly.
Have a wonderful day,
Gina
Yikes... Sorry you have to be dealing with this. I agree, you better go to the doc. But I suppose the hubby has evaluated the sore nose.
Feel better soon
